Kicking it old school today with 'Sylvester and the Magic Pebble' by William Steig. This is one of my all time favorite kids books. It tells the story of Sylvester the donkey who finds a magic pebble that grants wishes... I won't say anything else because you seriously need to read this if you haven't already. Caldecott Medal - check! Magic stuff - check! Awesomeness - check! ...yup it's got it all!
